In a new Daily Dose of Social Media, Roger Federer stole the spotlight with his participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where he gave the starting signal. Tsitsipas joins forces with Ivanisevic in grass-court

Stefanos Tsitsipas is already training with Goran Ivanisevic with his sights set on returning to the grass courts at the Halle Open. The Greek tennis player recently added Novak Djokovic's former coach to his team with the goal of reclaiming a spot at the top of the rankings. They are currently training on grass courts, a surface where Tsitsipas holds one ATP 250 title (Mallorca 2022) but has never advanced past the fourth round at Wimbledon.
The Croatian – a former champion at the All England Club – can undoubtedly teach Tsitsipas a thing or two when it comes to grass courts, although Ivanisevic admitted it will still take time for Tsitsipas to regain a place among the best. "Right now, I can't say he's in his best physical and tennis shape. He's a player who belongs in the Top 5—based on potential, results, everything."

Federer Waves green flag at Le Mans 24 Hours

Roger Federer was the star, but this time off the tennis courts. The 20-time Grand Slam champion gave the start order for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, one of the three most iconic races in the world. The tennis legend officially started the race this Saturday at 4:00 PM local time on the Sarthe track, kicking off the 93rd edition.
"It's truly mythical to be here in person, to feel the atmosphere. I'm exhausted, honestly, because it was very emotional and tiring," said the former world No. 1. "I think it's a great honor for me to see the drivers, but also the passionate fans of this incredible sport. It's beautiful, I'm very excited to be able to do it."

Mirra Andreeva turns coach for young fans in Berlin

World No. 7 Mirra Andreeva became a coach for young fans in a promotional activity before the tournament, with the 18-year-old giving advice to dozens of children training tennis at the Berlin Ladies Open facilities. The teenager hit balls with them, took photos, and gave autographs to the fans who witnessed the moment up close.
Andreeva is preparing for her tournament debut this Monday against Magdalena Frech. The Russian is one of the players defending the fewest points in the grass swing, giving her a good chance to accumulate points in the coming weeks and climb the rankings. Andreeva will also be at the Bad Homburg Open next week, a tournament that precedes Wimbledon.

Badosa & Jabeur share laughs in Berlin ahead of tournament start

Paula Badosa and Ons Jabeur are also having a good time ahead of the Berlin Ladies Open, seen joking around in their final practice before the tournament. In a video shared on the tournament's social media, Badosa is seen laughing and teasing Ons Jabeur about the "moon-balls" she was hitting during their training session.
The Spanish player is the 8th seed and has been drawn to face local wildcard Eva Lys this Monday in the first round. Meanwhile, Jabeur entered the qualifying round. She secured an agonizing first-round victory against France's Elsa Jacquemot with a score of 4-6, 7-5, 7-6[13-11] in a match where she saved two match points against her and squandered four opportunities before finally clinching the win. She still has one more match against Wang Xinyu for a spot in the tournament's main draw.
