Who plays Eisenhower Cup? Madison Keys & Taylor Fritz, Paula Badosa & Stefanos Tsitsipas among top teams

All set for a new edition of the Eisenhower Cup, a mixed doubles tournament that anticipates the start of the Indian Wells and which will have a luxury line-up, led by Iga Swiatek, Taylor Fritz, Madison Keys, Stefanos Tsistipas and Paula Badosa.

Elena Rybakina was the latest to join the traditional mixed doubles tournament, after replacing owrld No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka, as announced a week ago. The 2022 Wimbledon champion joins the prestigious tournament, partnering with Taylor Fritz in an eight-team draw.

Sabalenka’s participation was one of the main highlights of the event, given her status as the world No. 1 and a three-time Grand Slam champion. However, she ultimately decided to withdraw from the exhibition despite having previously committed, with Rybakina emerging as an ideal replacement.

Sabalenka is likely looking to stay focused ahead of her next WTA 1000 event following a disappointing Middle East swing, where she managed just one win and suffered two early exits.

Exciting line-up for the Eisenhower Cup

The event will take place on Tuesday, 4 March, featuring several of the Tour’s top stars and exciting mixed doubles pairings. Iga Swiatek will once again team up with Hubert Hurkacz, just as in previous editions of the United Cup.

The American duos include Emma Navarro and Ben Shelton, last year's champions, as well as 2025 Australian Open winner Madison Keys partnering with Tommy Paul. Keys is set to make her first appearance after winning the Austrian Open title in late January.

The tournament will also provide an opportunity to see some well-known couples competing side by side. Katie Boulter will play alongside her fiance Alex de Minaur, while Spanish star Paula Badosa pairs up with her boyfriend Stefanos Tsitsipas. Badosa recently suffered a back injury that forced her to withdraw in the quarter-finals of the Merida Open. It remains to be seen if her fitness will allow her to compete - or if there will be any last minute withdrawals.

Event Format: The night will showcase a high-energy Tie Break Tens tournament, where players compete in fast-paced ten-point tie-break matches. The event will feature an eight-team single-elimination bracket, with seven exciting matches throughout the evening.
