Chris Evert has seemingly decided on her GOAT and it isn't the typical choice of Roger Federer, Serena Williams, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic or even her close friend, Martina Navratilova.
The 18-time Grand Slam champion said on Twitter calling the GOAT in fact being Esther Vergeer.
A legend of wheelchair tennis, she has won an impressive 470 matches with a ten-year undefeated streak.
This has featured 48 Grand Slam titles as well as seven Paralympic gold medals in a run seemingly unparalled.
Inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame recently in Newport, it was Nick McCarvel who brought up the debate which was shared by Evert that no-one in fact comes close when it comes to the GOAT in tennis.
She was the World Number One continuously from 1999 onwards, not suffering a single defeat since 2003 and after winning the London Paralympics, she reached the 470 mark.
She then announced her immediate retirement in February 2013 abandoning her position as the top wheelchair player for the first time in 14 years.
She has had paraplegia since the age of eight due to surgery near her spinal cord, but after initially playing multiple sports, she turned to tennis and never looked back.
