The 2025 Macau Tennis Masters is set to take place between December 27 and 28 at the Macau Forum, featuring a mix of ATP and WTA players to close out the year in the third edition of this exhibition. This year features legends Li Na and Conchita Martínez as captains of two mixed teams facing off in the midst of their Australian Open preparations.
Team Li Na will feature Alexandra Eala—recent gold medalist at the SEA Games—alongside local Jerry Shang and Frenchman Ugo Humbert. The latter is replacing Brit Jack Draper, who withdrew a few days ago due to physical issues.
They will face the team led by former Wimbledon champion Conchita Martínez, who boasts a roster of international stars: World No. 9 Mirra Andreeva will join Yibing Wu and the Spaniard World No. 13 Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
The teams will compete in men’s and women’s singles matches, as well as mixed doubles duels on both days.
"The MGM Macau Tennis Masters grows every year, and this will be our most spectacular edition yet," said Luiz Carvalho, Tournament Director and MARI Group Senior Vice President of Tennis Events. "Fans can expect world-class tennis, thrilling rallies, and unforgettable moments from six incredible athletes, headlined by legends Li Na and Conchita Martínez."
The two teams are:
• Team Li Na: Alexandra Eala, Ugo Humbert, Juncheng Shang
• Team Conchita: Mirra Andreeva, Alejandro Davidovich Fokina, Yibing Wu
