America’s tennis star Taylor Fritz's girlfriend Morgan
Riddle wants to put a petition to organise a tournament at Playboy Mansion back
in the 1970s.
The 26-year-old made that wish in a story on her official account
on the social media platform Instagram by stating: "Reading a magazine
from the 70s - apparently the mansion held an annual celeb tennis tournament
and I think we should petition to bring it back.”
According to a recent report, some of the most high-profile
names in the past used to participate in the event including the former world
number one Jimmy Connors and Ilie Nastase.
Fritz had an impressive year at the highest level in 2023
where he won two ATP titles as well. His first triumph came in February at the
Delray Beach Open where he ended up defeating Miomir Kecmanovic of Serbia with
a score of 6-0, 5-7, 6-2.
His second title in 2023 was the Atlanta Open in July where
he defeated Australia’s Aleksandar Vukic in the final with a score of 7-5, 6-7,
6-4. Other than that, the world number 10 also played in the quarterfinal of the
US Open where he suffered a defeat to the current world number one Serbia’s
Novak Djokovic with a score of 6-1, 6-4, 6-4.

- The main difference for bigger names like Alcaraz, Sinner, Zverez, etc. is that they usually make it to the later stages of tournaments while 99% of the other players win a round or two and then move on to the next tournament.
