ITF President David Haggerty has announced during a phone interview that he plans to re-introduce the Hopman Cup in 2021.

The Hopman Cup was a recently casualty of the ATP Cup; but there have already been lots of interest and enquiries from interested parties.
Roger Federer and Belinda Bencic were the last champions winning the title in early 2019 defeating Alexander Zverev and Angelique Kerber to become back to back winners.
He said that they have had interest from every continent and despite not having any plans to do it next year, 2021 has been earmarked.
“Our plan is to re-introduce it for 2021. We don’t have plans for the Hopman Cup in 2020 but we are going out to the market for expressions of interest and we have already had quite a few enquiries.”
“The reason to do the expressions of interest is really to get the feedback from the nations and cities that have an interest and see what their proposal would be,” Haggerty added, “and I can confirm we have interest from every continent.”
