Just Stop Oil target Wimbledon as latest high profile sports disruption with potential to glue themselves to Centre Court

After the World Snooker Championships were targeted earlier this year, Wimbledon is supposedly the next target of eco warriors, Just Stop Oil.
They want to glue themselves potentially to Centre Court and create a more iconic image than the protester at the Crucible who strapped himself to the table and sprayed out orange powder.
Now Wimbledon security will be on red alert to stop the protesters who have moved onto sport after glueing themselves to roads and disrupting commuters.
This has included high profile football matches as well as the snooker and it seems like tennis is the next sport which will be on the receiving end of protest action.
“An image of someone’s hand glued to something on Centre Court would be amazing," an unnamed person told an undercover reporter for The Sun.
“That would be very inspiring. There’s a lot of people up for that.”
While another protester said that it will garner more interest than the snooker which was huge news at the time.
“Wimbledon is a bit of an open secret. It would be an iconic image. It would be an even better photo than the snooker.”
