British tennis star Katie Boulter has revealed that she enjoyed the most on the court while playing alongside her boyfriend Australia’s Alex de Minaur in the mixed doubles clash at Wimbledon.
The 27-year-old, along with Minaur, were eventually knocked out from the round of 16 clash at the event after losing to the pair of Joran Vliegen Xu Yifan with a score of 6-3, 4-6, 7-6.
Boulter recently posted a video on her official Instagram account and stated that playing with her boyfriend was the most enjoyable experience on the court. "Most fun I've ever had on a tennis court," she wrote.
Before the mega-event, Minaur stated back in July about the reason why he opted to play in a category where he had never played before.
"I’ve been bugging her for a while to play,” he said. “We said we would give it a go at least one time. It's going to be fun. I'm going to enjoy it.”
Boulter, back then, also stated that it was a mutual decision. "I think it's something we've both wanted to do for quite some time," she said.
"I think we're both going to really enjoy it and cherish it. It's not often that you get to have that experience together, especially at Wimbledon."
