Muguruza return hinted by appearing in Adidas Tennis advert alongside Auger-Aliassime, Tsitsipas, Sakkari and Zverev

Garbine Muguruza appeared in an Adidas Tennis commercial showcasing the outfit she will wear at the French Open.

Former world No. 1 Garbine Muguruza had previously announced that she would take a break from the clay and grass court season due to mental health reasons. However, she appeared in a promotional video for Adidas Tennis, showcasing the attire she will wear at this year's French Open, which suggests an earlier return to the tennis circuit and the tournament she won in 2016.

Other top tennis players, including Alexander Zverev, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Maria Sakkari, and wheelchair tennis professional Dana Mathewson, also appeared in the video.

"To give our all, to take a stand," said Muguruza in the video.

Currently ranked world No. 133, Muguruza has not won a match since the Tokyo Open in September 2022, and has suffered six consecutive losses, with a 0-4 record in 2023.
