Alexander Zverev has again been caught up in domestic abuse allegations with his ex and mother to his child, Brenda Patea requesting a penalty order against him.
Martina Navratilova has now chimed in amid the news and urged for an investigation to properly take place and for these allegations to be properly addressed.
Zverev was previously accused by his ex, Olga Sharypova, with the ATP starting an investigation themselves in which they took no further action against the player in question.
But the legendary Navratilova called that investigation 'bs' and led to nowhere.
"And this needs to be properly addressed and actually investigated rather than the BS investigation by @atptour to nowhere," said Navratilova on Twitter.
He would not be charged with the offence, but would likely have to pay up to 450,000 euros.
Albeit Patea has said it is not financially motivated. She has full custody of Zverev's daughter who was born in 2021.
