Novak Djokovic is not the only professional athlete who is opposed to taking the Covid vaccine, as NFL great Aaron Rodgers seems to share the same belief, supporting the Serbian on his stance.
It's no secret that Djokovic has not been vaccinated against Covid-19, which led to him missing several tournaments over the past two years due to vaccination entry laws. However, with these rules relaxed this year, the former World No.1 was finally able to compete at the
US Open after missing the event last year due to travel restrictions.
Rodgers watches Djokovic play in person, takes shot at vaccine
New York Jets quarterback Rodgers is also known for his reluctance to get the vaccine. The former NFL MVP took some time off before the start of football season to watch the US Open live, posting a photo of Djokovic in action on his Instagram stories.
"#novaxDjokovic. Bucket list, being able to witness the greatness of @djokernole in person at #arthurashestadium," wrote Rodgers.
The NFL player took things a step further by crossing out a Moderna sign on the court, who coincidentally were sponsoring the event and are one of the manufacturers of the vaccine.
