Nick Kyrgios will join Team World's charge at the 2023 Laver Cup which is due to take place between September 22-24, 2023 in Canada.
Kyrgios joins the six man team which is led by captain John McEnroe who will look to defend their title.
Currently also in the team are Frances Tiafoe, Taylor Fritz and home hero, Felix Auger-Aliassime, with Andrey Rublev and Stefanos Tsitsipas confirmed for Team Europe.
Kyrgios is currently off the court due to injury and hasn't played since October 2022 requiring surgery prior to the Australian Open and is yet to return to action.

- I heartily disagree with Stubbs here. I mean c'mon! The whole idea of giving out wildcards is to give new & up-coming players a chance at getting as much circuit match-practice under their belts as possible. And this is a HUGE must and opportunity for these new kids on the block. Why curtail opportunities for these newbies in favour of stalwart monopoly?? That just isn't fair. At least give these lesser known players a chance to become more familiar at playing in bigger tournaments & give them also a chance of getting the crowds behind these underdogs.
