Fans on social media made some interesting comments about who should join the ‘Big Three’ of Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic in the Tennis Mount Rushmore.
There has been a debate going on social media about who should join the Big Three in the Tennis Mount Rushmore. Some fans named the former world number one Pete Sampras whereas others named the former women’s world number one Serena Williams.
Sampras remains one of the most successful players in men’s tennis in the singles category as he lifted 14 major titles. On the other hand, Williams remains the most successful player in the history of women’s tennis in the singles category, having won as many as 23 Grand Slams.
The Big Three of Nadal, Federer and Djokovic have ruled the men’s tennis over the last two decades. All three of them have won 20 or more Grand Slams in their respective careers.
Djokovic, who is the current men's world number one, remains the most successful player in terms of Grand Slam titles in the men’s singles category as he has lifted 24 of them. He is followed by Nadal who has lifted 22 major titles whereas Federer has lifted 20 Grand Slam titles in his career.
