The Quarter-Finals of 2023 Wimbledon are here with Day Nine's Schedule now confirmed featuring four of the contests to continue the second week.
TennisUpToDate as ever will preview a superb schedule as we set the first four semi-finalists at the All England Lawn and Tennis Club.

Swiatek-Svitolina and Djokovic-Rublev on Centre Court

Opening Centre Court is a highly anticipated clash and one with huge respect between the pair as Iga Swiatek, the World No.1 faces Elina Svitolina.
Both played at the same time on Sunday with Swiatek defeating Belinda Bencic and Svitolina facing Victoria Azarenka.
Both were stand-out clashes that were two of the matches of the tournament at the same time.
Now the winners face each other and Swiatek pre match praised her for returning after pregnancy.
"I'm happy that she's back after becoming a mother. I don't know how tough it is, but I'm sure it's really tough. Yeah, I'm happy that she's playing a solid game. I think it's going to be interesting in two days."
Albeit despite being friendly with each other and having that mutual respect, she doesn't think it will impact the match.
"I don't think it's going to impact our game. For sure, yeah, we respect each other. We like each other. It's all pretty positive."
Head to Head sees a 1-0 lead for Swiatek defeating Svitolina in the 2021 Rome Quarter-Finals on her beloved clay but many have remarked that Svitolina is very much a different player since then so very much game on.
The other clash sees Andrey Rublev who saw off Alexander Bublik in an incredible clash on Centre Court featuring that viral winner off the floor face Novak Djokovic, the imperious champion elect.
He is closing in on a record equalling eighth title and this will likely be his biggest test yet. It also sees him technically play three days in a row after being made to return today to finish off his tie with Hubert Hurkacz. Will that play a factor?
Head to Head wise, it is 3-1 to Djokovic with no meeting on grass and most of it is at ATP Finals. Their last meeting though saw a comprehensive 6-1, 6-2, 6-4 win for Djokovic at the Australian Open this year.

Pegula and Sinner on Court One

Court One sees another two Quarter-Finals with another women's semi-finalist and men's semi-finalist to be set.
Jessica Pegula has gone under the radar this tournament playing on the outside courts but showing off some superb form.
She next faces a resurgent Marketa Vondrousova who downed her compatriot Marie Bouzkova in a superb comeback win.
The other tie sees Jannik Sinner who has had a pretty simple run through and as the phrase goes you can only beat what's in front of you and he has done just that.
Next up is Roman Safiullin who has had a landmark rise after initially coming out of the same Russian group as Medvedev, Rublev and Khachanov but can he rise to defeat the Italian?
