One of the most highly anticipated clashes of the opening day at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown saw Gael Monfils confront a spectator who had been heckling him in the stands against Frances Tiafoe.
A super entertaining clash saw Tiafoe come from 7-9 down in the first quarter to make it 10-9, tied at 12-12, it was Monfils that came up with the goods as he sealed it 13-12.
It was a lot easier next time around as he rocketed from 6-6 to 9-6 and despite Tiafoe firing back, he closed out the quarter. Tiafoe came back as Monfils started to lose his head.
