Paula
Badosa and
Stefanos Tsitsipas recalled an incredible coincidence from 2022
before starting their relationship.
The
relationship between Badosa and Tsitsipas has caused a stir on social media
among tennis fans. The new couple confirmed their relationship a few days ago
and have been consistently posting photos and videos together.
The Greek
player remembered a video from 2022 in which he accidentally received a package
that was intended for the former world No. 2 Spanish player:
"Ok,
we got to stop. This is getting too much," Tsitsipas wrote on Twitter.
Badosa
responded to the video that caught the attention of fans.
“NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
this is crazy! Universe was calling…@steftsitsipas," Badosa wrote.
Speculations
about their relationship began when their joint playlist on Spotify was made
public, which marked the start of their shared posts. They both created an
Instagram profile where they shared videos from their trip to Dubai.
Badosa's
latest performance was at the Rome Open, where she ended her run with a
quarterfinal loss to Jelena Ostapenko. She later confirmed an injury that
forced her to withdraw from
Roland Garros before it began. As for Tsitsipas, he
was eliminated in the quarterfinals of the
French Open by Spain's Carlos
Alcaraz.
