The 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games Women's seeds were announced with Ashleigh Barty number one ahead of Osaka as two and Aryna Sabalenka as 3.
The 2020 Tokyo Olympics start in a few days and Ashleigh Barty will be the number one seed at the event. The Australian has proved herself to be the best player for over a year now comfortably holding that number one spot with consistency in her performance.
The number two seed will be Naomi Osaka who is one of the favourites considering she plays in her native Japan albeit without fans. The top 8 are rounded up by Aryna Sabalenka at 3, Elina Svitolina at 4, Karolina Pliskova at 5, Iga Swiatek at 6, Garbine Muguruza at 7 and Barbora Krejcikova at 8.
The WTA field is much stronger than the ATP field and there have virtually been zero cancellations except for Andreescu who is injured. The event starts on July 24th and expects daily coverage coming to you from us.
