The Adelaide International is the last WTA tournament of the Aussie swing, offering the last chance for the players to seek good results before heading to Europe or Asia.
An exciting week of tennis in Adelaide has reached its conclusion and it only remains to be seen who will lift the Adelaide International trophy. Iga Swiatek and Belinda Bencic have been the most consistent performers of the past week and they will battle it out for the trophy.
Swiatek had an amazing week in Adelaide which reminded everyone just how good she can be. En route to the final, she took down some good opposition without dropping a single set which is very similar to when she stormed the French Open last year. Everything in her game clicked nad her dominance from the baseline has been fascinating to observe. On the other side of the net will be Belinda Bencic a player who has returned to a final after a lengthy absence. She played one less match than Swiatek due to being a higher seed but showed a similar level of tennis.
She only dropped one set against Gauff despite leading 5-3 and serving for the set herself. It's a minor mistake in an otherwise perfect week for Bencic. They never played so far in their careers but considering the recent form shown by Swiatek, it will be somewhat of a surprise if Bencic is able to pull this one out. She is the underdog but she is also more than capable of winning this one if everything clicks.

The semifinal at the Adelaide Internationa will determine which of the four players remaining will fight for the title. There are several strong players in contention such as Bencic, Gauff and Swiatek and one of them will want to seize that trophy.
The first semifinal is scheduled to start at 01:30 CET and it will be Gauff vs Bencic. The American has displayed an increased maturity at this event which saw her win three close matches which all went to three sets. Bencic has been playing strong tennis as well and she is looking like her former self in Adelaide. It will be a close match as Gauff will be tough to beat even with the high level of tennis Bencic has shown.
The 2nd semifinal is set to start about three hours after the first one and it will be Swiatek will Teichmann. Swiatek has shown a very high level of tennis that saw her smash several opponents en route to the semifinal. She will be the overwhelming favourite against Teichmann whom she already defeat once.

The first quarterfinal will start at 01:30 and it will be Sevastova versus Teichmann with the Swiss player considered a slight favourite. They never played one another so it will be new territory for both of them with the one who manages better the likely winner. After them, we will see an all-American clash as Gauff takes on Rogers who is enjoying a breakout Australian Summer so far. Gauff has struggled in her previous two matches and if she repeats those struggles she will have a hard time against the in-form Rogers.
The night shift kicks off at 09:00 CET with a proper banger as Swiatek takes on Collins. Both are playing well, both are heavy hitters and this match should be filled with highlights.
