2021 WTA Bad Homburg Open Draw released including Kvitova and Azarenka

The Bad Homburg Open is one of the main WTA tournaments in the run-up to Wimbledon with multiple names who are not travelling to the UK early to play at Eastbourne set to be involved.
They include the likes of Petra Kvitova, Victoria Azarenka and Jessica Pegula who are the top seeds over the next week from June 20-26 in Germany.
Simona Halep was due to begin her comeback from injury ahead of her Wimbledon title defence in Germany but pulled out before media commitments on Sunday.
While the likes of Maria Sakkari who was initially on the list will seemingly take more time off ahead of Wimbledon after a semi-final run in Paris for the Greek ace.
Both the prior mentioned Kvitova and Azarenka will face qualifiers in thier opening ties. While Pegula face Amandine Hesse of France.
Other ties include Sorana Cirstea facing Andrea Petkovic, Danka Kovinic taking on Amanda Anisimova and Anna Blinkova facing Clara Tauson with the winner facing Angelique Kerber.
Also Sara Sorribes Tormo will face Martina Trevisan as the run up to the main grass Grand Slam continues.
