2022 LiveSport Prague Open Draw including Krejcikova, Kontaveit and Muchova

The 2022 tennis event in Prague returns with a strong field headlined by native grand slam champion Barbora Krejcikova.
It's been a rough few weeks for Krejcikova since returning from injury as the Czech player is yet to find the proper form that saw her be a very competitive player last year. A good chance comes back home in Prague where she will have a chance to test herself on the hard courts.
It's not her best surface but she can play well on it and seeing how clay was bad for her, perhaps this change will make it better. She will kick off against Anna Blinkova. The top seed is Anett Kontaveit and she will start against Ekaterina Gorgodze.
Elise Mertens is the 3rd seed and she will have to play a very tricky player in Magda Linette who could certainly beat her. Another native player, Karolina Muchova is struggling to return to peak form after her injury absence and she will look for a strong run here. Check out the full draw below.

- I heartily disagree with Stubbs here. I mean c'mon! The whole idea of giving out wildcards is to give new & up-coming players a chance at getting as much circuit match-practice under their belts as possible. And this is a HUGE must and opportunity for these new kids on the block. Why curtail opportunities for these newbies in favour of stalwart monopoly?? That just isn't fair. At least give these lesser known players a chance to become more familiar at playing in bigger tournaments & give them also a chance of getting the crowds behind these underdogs.
