2023 Canadian Open WTA Entry List featuring Swiatek, Sabalenka, Rybakina, Pegula, Jabeur, Andreescu and return of Wozniacki (Update - 04-08)

The WTA Entry List has been confirmed ahead of the Canadian Open between August 4-13 taking place in Montreal and is a main stop en route to the US Open.
While the ATP tournament will also take place in tandem on the same dates in Toronto, Simona Halep is the defending champion but won't return to defend it due to doping violations.
But the world's top three Iga Swiatek, Aryna Sabalenka and Elena Rybakina will headline the field. Alongside the likes of Jessica Pegula, Coco Gauff, Maria Sakkari, Caroline Garcia, Petra Kvitova and Daria Kasatkina.
Jennifer Brady also enters in on a protected ranking as she begins her comeback, as does Caroline Wozniacki on her first stop on the return. Venus Williams and Elina Svitolina will also play using wildcard and protected ranking.
Bianca Andreescu and Leylah Fernandez will lead the wildcards also from the perspective of the home hopes with the former showing recent tennis harking back to her 2019 run of form at the tournament.
