The ATP Entry List has been confirmed for the Canadian Open also known as the National Bank Open (Rogers Cup) for sponsorship reasons which is a main stop off en route to the US Open.

Taking place between August 4-13, 2023, Toronto will host the men's tournament with Pablo Carreno Busta, the defending champion.

He defeated Hubert Hurkacz last year in the final 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 and is an ATP 1000 tournament but he will not play this year withdrawing with injury.

Carlos Alcaraz, Casper Ruud, Holger Rune, Daniil Medvedev, Stefanos Tsitsipas among others will be involved.

As will Felix Auger-Aliassime and Denis Shapovalov as home hopes. Rafael Nadal though will not head to Canada this year, with a 2024 farewell set up.

Novak Djokovic is now out citing fatigue with Christopher Eubanks next in as direct entry.
