The 2023 Hamburg European Open will see the WTA return to clay during the week of July 23-29, and will take place in the city of Hamburg, Germany.

A WTA 250 event, the Hamburg Open features a 32-player singles draw and a 16-team doubles event. Defending champion Bernarda Pera is slated to compete at the event, alongside compatriot and rising American star Alycia Parks.

World No.10 Daria Kasatkina will hope to win her 7th career WTA title when she touches down in Hamburg, but she will have to get past the likes of fellow Russian Anastasia Potapova and Croatian veteran Donna Vekic.
