2023 WTA Toray Pan Pacific Open Prize Money and Points Breakdown with $2,013,940 on offer

The WTA 500 Toray Pan Pacific Open will feature a singles draw of 26 players and a 16-team doubles draw.
Between September 25th and October 1st, the Japanese tournament will be played on hard courts at the Ariake Coliseum, and it will see the return of several top-ranked players who were not present at the WTA 1000 Guadalajara Open this week.
With a star-studded main draw, the top seeds will be Iga Swiatek, Jessica Pegula, and Elena Rybakina, in a field that includes ten players from the top-20. The top eight seeds will be:

3. Elena Rybakina
4. Marketa Vondrousva
5. Maria Sakkari
6. Barbora Krejcikova
7. Caroline Garcia
8. Daria Kasatkina
Last year's edition brought surprises as none of the seeded players made it to the final. Instead, it was Qinwen Zheng and Ludmila Samsonova who contested a closely-fought championship match, ultimately won by the Russian with a score of 7-5, 7-5.
The defending champion, seeded 7th, will face Tatjana Mara in the first round. Meanwhile, the 21-year-old Chinese player will not be participating in the tournament.

Exciting moments are on the horizon at the WTA 500 Tokyo 2023, featuring a spectacular lineup of players, including most of the world's top-ranked ones. Iga Swiatek and Jessica Pegula stand out as the two major favorites.
Additionally, Elena Rybakina, a potential semifinal opponent for Swiatek, is also highly anticipated. On the other hand, Maria Sakkari and Caroline Garcia could potentially meet again in a quarterfinal showdown, which would determine Pegula's potential opponent.
