The WTA will make it's yearly stop in South American for the 2024 Copa Colsanitas Bogota Open, which will run between April 1-7, 2024 in Bogota, Colombia.
A WTA 250 event, the Bogota Open is a clay court tournament that offers lower-ranked WTA stars the opportunity to make their mark on the tour. German star Tatjana Maria is the two-time defending champion, and the mother of two is hoping to make it a hat-trick as she returns to the city again this year.
The tournament will offer a prize money pool of $267,082, with $35,250 and 250 ranking points going to the champion. Hometown hero and 2021 champion Camila Osorio will be flying the national flag at the event. The Colombian will be joined by other clay-court specialists, with Spaniard Sara Sorribes Tormo, Czech Marie Bouzkova and rising American star Peyton Stearns, who was last year's finalist, return to the event.
