The Stuttgart Open, also known as the
Porsche Tennis Grand Prix, is known for the coolest and, above all, fastest winner's trophy on the tour. Since 2021, the winner in Stuttgart has been traveling electrically!
Ashleigh Barty was the first player to make her way around the Porsche Arena in Stuttgart in all-electric mode after converting her match point: in 2021, the Australian won her title at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix and won the first all-electric Porsche in the tournament's history: a Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo.
The sustainable winner's trophy is now almost the norm for the winner in Stuttgart. And deservedly so: hardly any other tournament has a more attractive and stronger field of participants - this year, a staggering nine of the world's top ten players have entered.
The 2024 Porsche Tennis Grand Prix will be led by defending champion
Iga Swiatek, who already has two Porsches at home.
Winning Porsche 2024: the Taycan 4S Sport Turismo
Swiatek will have to give it her all again this year, and
Aryna Sabalenka in particular will be doing everything she can to finally win the title after losing three finals. And with it her first Porsche, the new version of the Porsche Taycan, which scores with higher charging power, faster acceleration and greater range. Specifically: a Porsche Taycan 4S Sport Turismo.
As always, it will be clearly visible on a pedestal on the center court throughout the tournament, so the players will have it in view during every match - more motivation is hardly possible. Just in time for the first serve in the Porsche Arena, Porsche has extensively updated the Taycan. In addition to more power, greater range and higher acceleration, the new versions charge faster and are more robust. The design appearance has also been sharpened.
