Ana Ivanovic and Angelique Kerber set bizarrely for a music collaboration after reuniting

Ana Ivanovic and Angelique Kerber confirmed a musical collaboration after sharing a photoshoot on social media. The former Serbian tennis star, champion of the 2008 French Open, retired in 2016 at the age of 29 due to ongoing injuries.

One of her rivals throughout her career was Angelique Kerber, who also held the No. 1 ranking and has three Grand Slam titles to her name: the 2016 Australian Open and US Open, as well as the 2018 Wimbledon.

Both tennis legends are good friends and were part of a joint photoshoot that Ivanovic shared on social media. The 36-year-old former tennis player captioned the post: "It’s 'Bring a friend to work' Day."

Later, Kerber shared a photo with Ivanovic on her Instagram stories and commented on a musical collaboration between them: "Our new song is coming out soon," Kerber wrote in an Instagram post.
