Aryna Sabalenka again will not take part in a press conference after winning her Last 16 tie at
Roland Garros to reach the Quarter-Finals with a tie against Elina Svitolina set which will raise eyebrows in itself.
Sabalenka first skipped her press conference in the previous round after defeating Kamilla Rakhimova suddenly saying she did not feel safe with a limited number of journalists hand-picked by the tournament to ask questions.
She put it down also to mental health and well-being and now will continue not to answer questions from the press. This comes after previous questioning about her support of President Lukashenko a few years ago.
This when Belarusians were being tortured on the street as well as continued questioning about the Ukraine with images also arising of her hugging the president.
This saw her press conference in the second round brought to an abrupt halt and has also seen Iga Swiatek and also Elina Svitolina both asked about her skipping the press conferences.
Svitolina said herself that it was none of her business, while Swiatek saw her press conference ended when this was asked on Saturday.
Seemingly there will not even be a small press conference this time with a WTA editorial reporter instead asking the questions as well as priorly Jim Courier doing it on court in Paris.
