Aryna Sabalenka to lead talented lineup at 2025 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships

World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka has been announced as an entrant at the 2025 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships, which will take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The fan-favorite event often features the best players on the WTA tour, with fans treated to some high-quality tennis by the top-ranked players. Jasmine Paolini won the biggest title of her career at this year's edition, sparking a yearlong run that saw her finish at a career-high ranking of World No.4.
Sabalenka to renew rivalry with Swiatek
The big-hitting Belarussian experienced a stellar year on tour, winning two Major titles at both the Australian Open and the US Open. Additionally, Sabalenka wrestled the World No.1 ranking away from rival Iga Swiatek, who has also been announced for the event.
Swiatek successfully defended her Roland Garros title in 2024. Although she fell to China's Qinwen Zheng in the semifinals of the Summer Olympic Games, the Polish star did finish the year with 5 singles titles and the World No.2 ranking.
Paolini is set to return in an attempt to defend her title, coming off the best year of her career. After winning in Dubai, the Italian reached two Grand Slam finals at both the French Open and Wimbledon. Furthermore, she led her native Italy to the Billie Jean King Cup title at the end of the season.
