Canada’s tennis star
Bianca Andreescu has stated that she is
satisfied with her progress after coming back from an injury. The 23-year-old recently took part in the
French Open, where her journey came to an end after losing in the third round to Jasmine Paolini of Italy with a score of 6-1, 3-6, 0-6.
Andreescu, who has struggled with form and fitness recently, was recently quoted in a report in which the 2019 US Open champion expressed satisfaction with her performances after returning from an injury that was
earlier feared to keep her out of action for a long time.
“10 months ago I had no idea when I would be able to compete
again,” she said. “To be back so soon with what I dealt with is a dream!!! I
know my career has been very challenging thus far (who’s isn’t in their own way
though) but it helped me discover life in such a fascinating way (more on that
another time) and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. I finally feel something I
haven’t felt a long time… hope! Anyways, I just wanted to come out here to say
thank you to the ones who have stuck by me even during all the stops I’ve had.
Srsly it means soooooooo much. I love you all”
