Tennis star
Coco Gauff continues to add records to her promising career, as the American looks to be the player to beat when competing in a hardcourt final.
Coming off an amazing title run at the
Cincinnati Open, Gauff became the youngest player to lift that WTA 1000 title at just 19 years of age. The Atlanta native has been in exceptional form over the past few weeks, capturing the title at the DC Open a few weeks ago.
Gauff is almost unbeatable in hardcourt finals
The World No.6 has not only been impressive in singles hardcourt finals but doubles as well. Teaming with compatriot Jessica Pegula, the American duo have been difficult to beat, attaining the top-ranking during their partnership together.
Gauff's hard work is paying off, as the young American has garnered an impressive 91.7% win rate over hard court finals in both singles and doubles. The former Roland Garros finalist will be hoping to improve that record at the upcoming
US Open, where she is suddenly one of the favorites to lift the title.
