Defending champion Sabalenka moves through to Wuhan Open final with victory over Barty

Sabalenka claimed the victory in one hour and 43 minutes and improved her record in Wuhan to 11-0 overall continuing an imperious streak.

The Belarusian converted three of the four break point chances she created in the match and sealing each set and the initiative as a result with a late break.

Sabalenka won the last three games in both sets to claim a third career win over the current World No.1 and she will now face Petra Kvitova or Alison Riske in the final as she aims for consecutive titles in the event.
