The WTA Tour heads to Asia over the next week with the Toray Pan Pacific Open one of the main ports of call in Tokyo which features Naomi Osaka, Paula Badosa as top seed, Elena Rybakina, Caroline Garcia, Garbine Muguruza and Beatriz Haddad-Maia in a strong line-up.
For Osaka being unseeded, it is a difficult first task as she faces Daria Saville in her opener with a potential second round meeting with Haddad Maia. Badosa could face Chinese talent Qinwen Zheng.
While for Wimbledon champion, Elena Rybakina - it is another tough opener as she faces Liudmila Samsonova to begin her campaign. Other players involved include Sofia Kenin, Karolina Pliskova and Veronika Kudermetova with the tournament taking place between September 19-26.
