Draw Charleston Open 2025 headlined by Jessica Pegula, Madison Keys, Zheng Qinwen and Emma Navarro

The draw has been made ahead of the 2025 Charleston Open which is due to take place between March 31 - April 6, 2025 with Jessica Pegula as top seed in South Carolina over the next week.

A WTA 500, it marks the start of the clay court season and ironically Pegula is currently in action during the final of the Miami Open so could yet win back-to-back titles. She faces Heather Watson or a qualifier in the second round.

In her section is Peyton Stearns who faces likely Ajla Tomljanovic in the second round. Second seed is Madison Keys who faces Caroline Dolehide or Elisabetta Cocciaretto as she returns after a pretty up and down Sunshine Double on her return after the Australian Open.

Anna Kalinskaya is in her section of the draw. She faces Anhelina Kalinina first of all. Daria Kasatkina marks her first tournament as an Australian and will face Lauren Davis or a qualifier.

Emma Navarro is technically on home soil given her dad Ben is tournament director and sponsors the tournament with his company CreditOne. She made her WTA Main Draw debut at this event and returns as fourth seed facing either Olivia Gadecki or Hailey Baptiste.

Ashlyn Krueger could face Navarro and she takes on either Katie Volynets or a qualifier in the second round. Amanda Anisimova is also part of the American contingent and could face former champion Veronika Kudermetova in the second round.

Zheng Qinwen is third seed and faces either Maria Sakkari or Marina Stakusic. Danielle Collins is seventh seed and is defending champion and faces either Viktoriya Tomova or Robin Montgomery. They also sit in the same section as Jelena Ostapenko who could face Belinda Bencic in a tough second round.

Diana Shnaider is also among the top seeds aiming to finally kick start her season, she faces Polina Kudermetova or Irina-Camelia Begu.
