Emma Raducanu reunites with US Open trophy

Emma Raducanu sensationally won the 2021 US Open which earned her the title of Newcomer of the Year in the WTA season-ending rankings.
The British player had a tremendous meteoric rise in the 2nd half of the 2021 season that included some stellar performances. Her Wimbledon debut was one to remember as the young Brit was able to reach the 4th round of the event after which she retired from the match. At US open she played like a woman posses to reach the final without dropping a single set.
In the final, she defeated Fernandez 2-0 to secure her maiden grand slam trophy to everybody's surprise. Raducanu dropped only one set en route from the qualifiers to the trophy becoming the first qualifier to ever win a grand slam event. Recently in London, she reunited with the trophy that she over several months ago posing with it for the LTA. Raducanu is currently back home but will travel to the Emirates very soon to prepare for the upcoming 2022 season.
