Federer leads tennis community in celebrating Bencic Olympic Games gold medal triumph

Belinda Bencic made history after becoming the first woman to win gold for Switzerland in tennis at the Olympic Games with a 7-5, 2-6, 6-3 win over Marketa Vondrousova.
Bencic could make more as she is in the women's doubles final alongside Viktorija Golubic facing Barbora Krejcikova and Katerina Siniakova on Sunday.
Roger Federer was one of the first to celebrate the triumph of Bencic with the legendary Swiss ace keeping a watchful eye on her progress this tournament.
Monica Puig, Petra Kvitova and Billie Jean King also were amongst those who celebrated the triumph all posting on social media.
