Former world number one
Caroline Wozniacki has stated that
she will be taking her kids wherever she will go after resuming tennis
activities.
The Denish tennis star came out of retirement after a break
of nearly three years.
Wozniacki has already secured her first win at the highest
level as she defeated Australia’s Kimberly Birrell in straight sets with a
score of 6-2, 6-2 at the Omnium Banque Nationale Canadian Open in Montreal.
However, her journey in the competition was short-lived as she
suffered a defeat in the second round against Czech Republic’s Marketa Vondrousova
in straight sets with a score of 6-2, 7-5.
The 33-year-old was quoted in a report recently where she
stated that she will be taking her kids everywhere she will go because she
cannot stay away from them.
"Yeah, for sure. They'll be with me everywhere,” she
said. “Wherever I go, my kids and my family will be there. So I can't stay away
from them. I would miss them too much.
"They're having a blast. Olivia explored the Bouncy
Castle World down in the Old Harbor today, so she had a blast. You're supposed
to be 3, but she's big and very coordinated for a 2-year-old, so she was
allowed to go on it. Apparently had the time of her life this afternoon.”
