Caroline Garcia blamed her quick Madrid Open exit on her getting angry and frustrated quickly which messes up her focus and concentration during a match.
Garcia hasn't been able to replicate the same level she had last year.
It's been a lot of disappointing losses and a lot of early exits from events leaving her very frustrated. Even so, Garcia made two finals this year though she lost both of them as her consistency simply hasn't been there so far.
Speaking about her recent quick exit in Madrid, Garcia noted:
"As often since the beginning of the year, I get angry and I
get frustrated too quickly. And after that, it's even worse. I feel like
I gave her too much game. It's too bad. We have to get back to work. At
least all of this leaves room for improvement."
It's not a good thing and it doesn't help her achieve what she wants to achieve on a tennis court though it's not really something new. We've seen that from tennis players over the year though many like Medvedev agree it's not beneficial to playing at all.
