One of her best displays of the season so far, the Greek will now face Irina-Camelia Begu in the Quarter-Finals and attempted a tactic to try and get the crowd now on her side post match.
Discussing her own past with Spain, she pointed out that she lived in the country for almost four years previously.
“It was very difficult. They were supporting her, rightly so. She’s from Spain. I’m just happy with the way I kept my focus, kept calm. I didn’t hear anything from outside. I just want to remind everyone I lived here for almost 4 years," she said.
