Mirra Andreeva is quickly making strides in the world of tennis and will hope to reach the fourth round of
Wimbledon playing on Saturday against Anastasia Potapova.
That could in reaching the Last 16 open the possibilities of Centre Court billing for the 16-year-old.
Something which is not lost on her admitting that previously she would've been scared to play on it, but now she relishes the potential opportunity.
Change in viewpoint
"No. I would say that before I would be definitely scared to play on the Centre Court. But now I want to play on the court with tribunes. If maybe the supervisors will see this press conference, I will tell straightaway I want to play on the court with tribunes. At least Court 3, I will be super happy," Mirra Andreeva said.
"Yeah, they put me on the Centre Court, it will be amazing because it's also kind of a dream to play there. I didn't play there yet, so... But we will see," she added.
Centre Court tourist
That dream was stoked by Andreeva visiting on the opening day of the tournament and taking loads of pictures like a tourist instead of now being a potential contender.
She was also spotted on Friday wearing a bucket hat in the box of Varvara Gracheva who came close to defeating Aryna Sabalenka on Court One.
Not quite Centre Court, but an experience Andreeva is now wanting.
"Yes, I've been there in my first day. I made a lot of pictures right away. I have like 15 pictures in my phone. Yeah, so I've been there. The atmosphere is great," Mirra Andreeva said.
