The former world no 1 remains positive after her defeat to Sofia Kenin in the Australian Open final.

Garbine Muguruza lost to a determined Kenin after three sets in the final after of the Australian Open. Muguruza, who isn't happy with the defeat, remains positive and said her second place finish is a good start to the year.
"I think it's a great start of the year, for sure. It's going to give me a lot of information about where I am right now," Muguruza said.
"I don't think at all about the previous years - even the good ones or the bad ones. I feel like, 'What for?' And I got the best out of it, good or bad. I just started a new year. I have a new team."
The Spaniard also dismissed the notion that she was 'back' after her impressive performance in Melbourne. She said she never disappeared and her focus now is to improve her game and keep working hard
"If people see it because I'm in a Grand Slam final, that makes sense. I feel like I was playing a lot of tournaments. I was on the tour and I didn't disappear, I was there. Not reaching final rounds, for sure.
"I think I'm in a good process. And I think I felt my game much better than before. I think I got to keep it that way, keep working physically. These events are really long, so you got to be strong."
