The 24-year-old tuned in for the final match of Roger Federer and she was very touched by what she witnessed. Badosa is hardly alone as the emotion were overwhelming for both Federer and Nadal with the moment demonstrating just how strong their friendship is and how respectful the rivalry was.
She was asked about it during a radio interview program El Larguero and said:

"It was very emotional. I think it made it more beautiful to be among rivals for so many years. For me, it was something super emotional. But of course, he is a perfect athlete."
Asked whether she expects to have a rivalry like that Badosa admitted that she doesn't:
"I don't know, I will never have a rivalry like that of Rafa and Roger. At the moment I don't have a rivalry like that, but out of friendship, Aryna Sabalenka."
