"Incredible" says Daniil Medvedev when speaking on Raducanu achievment

The Russian played a stellar event from start to finish dropping only one set en route to the final and winning it in straight sets. It was a show of force by Medvedev who essentially cruised to his first grand slam win. The Russian was extremely happy but his achievement was outshined by Emma Raducanu. Not only did the Brit win the event coming from the qualifiers she also did not drop a single set.
10 matches out of which 3 were qualifying ones were won in straight sets and that impressed many including Daniil Medvedev. The Russian shared a picture of himself and Raducanu after their US Open triumphs. He captioned the photo with:
"Imagine being 18, playing in your 4th pro event, winning only a 25k before and now being @usopen champ! Incredible."
Medvedev was not the only one who praised Raducanu as Navratilova, Billie Jean King, Novak Djokovic and others praised the British player and her achievement.
