Barbora Krejcikova needed three hours to topple
Iga Swiatek in Ostrava but she was able to do so claiming an important trophy.
The Czech player was not having a very good year so far but she managed to play amazing back-to-back events in Tallinn and Ostrava. The final against Swiatek was an amazing one lasting over three hours and Krejcikova explained how important it was to win:
"It's a huge victory ... It's one of the one of the biggest match that I ever played. The atmosphere was just very energetic and very unbelievable for both sides. It's really one of the top matches that I think I ever played in my life."
Keeping calm was very hard when you face Swiatek because she rarely gives you moments to breathe:
"I was just telling myself to keep going. She's a great champion. She's a great player, so I was expecting that she's not going to give it to me easy. So I was just like, 'OK, keep going. It's going to be fine. You're going to you're going to get your chance. You're going to make it,' so that was my inner voice."
