We have a new update in the WTA Race and quite a few things shifted since we last did one two weeks ago following the Indian Wells Masters conclusion. This one comes after the conclusion of the Miami Open which was another WTA 1000 event and it was Petra Kvitova who surprisingly won the event.
She beat Elena Rybakina in the fire after a superb performance in the final. That win propelled Kvitova to number 5 in the current race just behind Iga Swiatek. On top, it's still Aryna Sabalenka who is ahead of Elena Rybakina due to the win over her in the Australian Open final.
Jessica Pegula is eternally 3rd with Barbora Krejcikova, Belinda Bencic, Coco Gauff, Victoria Azarenka and Magda Linette rounding up the top ten. Check out the rest of the WTA race below. There are some surprising names in the top 20 such as Sorana Cirstea who got there after a brilliant run at the Miami Open.
