Mirra Andreeva and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova traded tennis courts for a special celebration this week, joining several WTA stars at Daria Kasatkina’s wedding in Greece. Fresh from the 2026 Wimbledon Championships, the Russian-born players were among the guests who attended Kasatkina’s long-awaited ceremony with her fiancée Natalia Zabiiako.
The celebration took place shortly after Kasatkina completed her Wimbledon campaign and travelled to Greece for one of the most important moments of her personal life. The former world No. 8 had previously revealed that she and Zabiiako had been preparing the wedding for around a year, planning an intimate seaside event with close friends and family.
Among those present were Andreeva and Pavlyuchenkova, who shared glimpses of the celebrations on social media. Kamilla Rakhimova and Arina Rodionova were also seen attending the event, bringing together several current and former WTA players away from the pressure of the tour.
Pavlyuchenkova shared a selfie with Andreeva from the wedding festivities, writing “Reunidas” alongside pink heart emojis. Later, she posted another image from the cocktail hour, where Andreeva appeared wearing a black dress while Kasatkina and Zabiiako opted for a black-and-white style.

Kasatkina celebrates new chapter after Wimbledon

The wedding marked a new chapter for Kasatkina after a season full of important personal decisions. The Australian player, who changed her sporting allegiance from Russia in 2025, has spoken openly about her relationship with Zabiiako and the importance of feeling comfortable with her identity.
Kasatkina and Zabiiako made their relationship public in 2022, and in June 2025 the tennis player revealed that she had proposed to her partner. The couple chose Greece as the location for their wedding, creating a celebration away from the intensity of professional tennis.

Before leaving Wimbledon, Kasatkina had already shared her excitement about the upcoming event, describing it as a welcome change from the routine of the WTA Tour.
“I’ve got my wedding, our wedding. I’m really looking forward to it,” Kasatkina said during Wimbledon. “That’s great, though, isn’t it? You know, a break from tennis. Honestly, like, really looking forward to it, like something really, really different.”
The Australian star also explained that the couple had invested significant time into preparing the ceremony. “We’re gonna have about 40 people at the wedding in Athens, we’ve been working on this for like a year. I hope guests are gonna like it; a few of them who are playing here will be coming along afterwards,” she said.

The presence of these players was not a surprise for fans who have followed Kasatkina beyond the court. Andreeva, Pavlyuchenkova, Rakhimova and Rodionova have all been seen sharing a close friendship with Kasatkina through What The Vlog, the series where Kasatkina and Zabiiako document behind-the-scenes moments from WTA tournaments throughout the season.
