Monday at the China Open, Andreescu and Bertens through, Halep loses to Alexandrova

The tournament in the capital of China brings a lot of interesting matches, which was confirmed during the third day of play, as most TOP 20 players take part in it.
Elise Mertens and Madison Keys started the day with their victories in straight sets. Later they were joined by Kiki Bertens, who outplayed Dayana Yastremska.
For the first time since the triumph at the US Open, Bianca Andreescu played a match, when she defeated Aliaksandra Sasnovich 6-2, 2-6 and 6-1.
Ekaterina Alexandrova took care of the biggest surprise of the third day, when she managed to win 6-2 and 6-3 in an hour and 5 minutes against Simona Halep, who recently spoke about her plans for the Olympic season. In later matches Wozniacki, Svitolina and Bencic managed to advance.
