Paula Badosa has withdrawn from the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships in tears. The Spaniard has withdrawn from the event after losing the first set of her first round match against Lulu Sun, 181st in the world, 4-6.
In the first set, Badosa began with many doubts with his serve. In her first serve she saved a break point, and in the second two, but managed to win both. However, with 2-2 Sun was not going to forgive a third time to the Spanish, and got the first break of the match.
Confirming the break to take a 2-4 lead, the Swiss only had to hold her serve to take the first set. Lulu Sun would then focus her efforts on serve, and as a sign of this did not get any more break opportunities. With 4-5 and serving, although Paula Badosa would save the first three set points and would have a chance after breaking serve, Sun won the first set 4-6 on her fourth set point.
The situation could not be worse for Badosa, who was again out of a tournament very early, and this time against the 181st of the WTA Ranking. As a result, the Spaniard would star in a tough image in the break between sets, where she would be seen crying because of the helplessness of the situation. After that, she would end up abandoning the match.
