The draw for the 2022
Roland Garros is out and we know now which players might play each other in the quarterfinals.
The first potential matchup includes world number one
Iga Swiatek and Karolina Pliskova. They played only once before and Swiatek won that Rome Masters final last year with a 6-0 6-0 score. Pliskova is getting back to shape slowly but it's hard seeing her challenge, Swiatek. The 2nd one includes
Paula Badosa playing
Aryna Sabalenka. They played three times and Badosa leads 2-1.
The only match Sabalenka won was played in Stuttgart this year. Next up is
Ons Jabeur playing
Maria Sakkari and the Tunisian is leading that matchup 2-1. They played in Rome just recently and Jabeur was able to win that match with a stunning comeback where Sakkari threw the match away. The final one is between
Anett Kontaveit and
Barbora Krejcikova.
They played two times before and each has one win. They played once already and Krejcikova was able to win that one in Sydney. She has not played in months so it will be interesting to see how well she does.
