Following her impressive title run at the 2023 Cincinnati Open, Coco Gauff has seen her position rise on the ranking table in the WTA Race to Shenzhen.

The American pulled off a dominant win over Karolina Muchova to lift the biggest title of her career. Furthermore, the victory saw her leapfrog Ons Jabeur and Marketa Vondrousova to rise to fifth place in the singles race to the WTA Finals.

Cincinnati runner-up Muchova joined Gauff in climbing up the table, as the Czech star moved past Belinda Bencic and Petra Kvitova to sit at eighth place. The 27-year old has been having an excellent second half of the season, finishing runner-up at this year's Roland Garros and reaching a career-high of World No.10 following her run to the final at Cincinnati.

Russian Daria Kasatkina is also knocking on the door of the top 10, having moved up three spots to reach the 11th position on the rankings table in the Race to Shenzhen.
